Visiting Peru
It was a strange feeling not to have the internet world at my finger tips every day while I was traveling around southern Peru. So I kept a journal. In my journal I reflected on the fascinating history, cultural clash between the Native Americans and Spaniards, modern day demographics and my own experiences living in a third world country, a country that people had thrived on for thousands of years. I will extract and supplement some of my notes from journal with pictures. I made some absolutely unforgettable memories, but my greatest treasure will always and forever be the sweet victory of reaching the lost city of the Incas, Machu Picchu just as the sun came over the mountains.
